The Music of Darrell Hansen

Ladies and Gentlemen! God bless you all. I have just released my second project entitled "Clips In Time".
Please take this journey, as I have have, on the road of life's ups and down, and let's see if our paths cross. I bet they will.

There is something in this music for everyone. If you are spiritual being, which we all are, then you will relate. I know you will enjoy these songs as much as I have. Some of these songs literally haunted me for months while I was writing them. Try them and see if they don't captivate you for weeks and maybe even months as you listen to the songs over and over again. They are very powerful!

Yes, I penned the words and wrote the music and sang them and all of that, but please don't give me credit as a good song writer. I must, in all honesty, give credit to the “Great Spirit” or as some may call Him, God, Emanuel, Jeshua, Father, Jehovah, Elohim, El, Elah, etc.

Now I do not claim to be a prophet, for I am not, in the true sense of the word, but yes, the songs are inspired by more than just the “natural man” Did they come supernaturally? Yes, I think so. I would just start writing the words and playing the music. The next thing I know, I was being haunted by this song and I couldn't get it out of my head. The new CD has been out for months now, and mind you, I was was working on these songs well before the album was released, and the music is still stuck in my head!

Then there is "Please Don't Kill Me Again." This work has gotten great reviews by all, and is a prize for those guitar lovers, a real winner!
Imagine, music that glorifies God and has some great guitar leads at the same time. This music is uplifting!
In a day when there is much to be down about, it is good to have music that keeps you focused, and reminds you that there is a God, and that He is in control.

Not just space fillers or empty words, my music is doctrine, emotional, relative, and it's real.
It's written from a heart that loves the Lord. It's also written from the real life experiences of me, Darrell Hansen.

I have observed those around me and I become inspired by things and people around me. Living with my wife who suffers from a disabling disease, I was inspired to write "Jeannette's Song".
"Jeannette's Song" speaks of the trials of a handicapped person, but also inspires us with their perseverance and resolve.

Watching as my sons would get into trouble and become rebellious and disrespectful, I was inspired to write "Where Are You Mamma?" It's a song about a teen who treats his mother like dirt, and comes home to find out his mother is gone. She had died and there was no time to say "I'm sorry".

Then there is "Empty Space". A song about the void one leaves when they pass on. It puts a value on all human life, and shows the uniqueness of every person. When one is gone, there is no one that can ever fill that void.

There is "I Don't Want You To Go" This song was written while my wife was in the hospital after having a stroke. Although I knew my wife would be in heaven if she were to die, I wasn't ready for her to go.
"We've been together all of these years, facing life's battles side by side. Although peace is waiting for you over there, I can't bare you leaving my side". I picked up my guitar, and the song came right from the heart. This became quite a touching song.

Then there is "I Don't Mind Helping You". This song was inspired when I was getting impatient one day when helping Jeannette. I thought "wait just a minute, I don't mind pushing you, after all you have done for me! That's a song!" And so it is. Although I was "running around like a race horse" at the Salt Lake Airport, pushing Jeannette in her wheel chair, I decided I wasn't going to mind one bit.

The newest song is "Chance To Live". It can be heard alone with accompanying video at youtube.com. It's a song about the abortion issue, and is hopefully an eye opener for anyone considering taking the life of their young one.
I hope this song gets out far and wide. This message is needed and how many lives could be saved.
Please help us with your support. Please buy a CD!

Your help is greatly appreciated. I want you to understand that buying a CD is more than just purchasing music. Your contribution helps support a ministry of wholesome music as well as the physical ministry of our mission work here in Vale.
Many homeless people have been helped. Many stranded people have been helped. Many young people from broken homes are getting a chance to hear about a God who loves them.
Your contribution helps with the upkeep and repairs of the building, and to keep things going here.

Another good reason to give, God will bless you for helping His work. God loves a cheerful giver.

"Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver."
II Cor. 9:7.

God bless as He speaks to you through the music!
